Tornach

So, I think this is the semi-final design sketch for Tornach, the Representative of lightning aka “The Human Nightlight.” :< It could possibly change before the time he enters the comic. I’m pretty indecisive…

From what I can tell, people seem to like him best of all the Reps so far. D: Which is fine with me! He’s the youngest and most laid back of all of them. He’s fun-loving, sporadic/random, energetic, etc. He has a hand-to-hand/close range fighting style, and the little Glowy-Blades+1 retract to the top of his hand. He’s also the first Representative to appear in the story. Hurrah!

And we all know that lightning/thunder doesn’t “crack,” it goes “bewm.” Right?

Yeah, I know, I had planned to update this every day, but… yeah.

See, the problem isn’t that I’m not drawing every day. I do, I just either a) am too lazy to upload it (because it’s a hard-copy) or b) I don’t think it’s good enough. Anyway! I’ll try to upload more often, just for the 1-2 people that visit. :X

A further concept of Ramee for Kyle’s story. I’m thinking of going with an emphasis on a heavy lines/neutral colors/sketchiness for his illustrations… I rather like the dreary atmosphere it gives. Need to work on my technique, though.

This is a little preview for an OC Art Meme that I’m slowly working on~. For those of you who don’t know, OC means “Original Character Meme,” and an art meme is basically a basically a survey about a certain theme (an original character, in this case) that you have to draw the answer.
